Quick Debussy fix with Spotify

Sometimes, you just need a quick Debussy fix and this is a short but addicting shot of Claude,
that I’ve been playing compulsively… :-)

"Clair de lune”, „moonlight”, is the third movement of the Suite Bergamasque, a piano depiction of a Paul Verlaine poem. Normally I don’t *do* separate movements in this blog, but this piece can stand very well on it’s own.
Hé, sometimes you gotta split because you got no time to waste… :-)
The finest interpretation of this movement that I know is by the French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet.

Enter Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, (been waiting for thàt man). He plays the complete Childrens Corner suite and finishes with „La cathédrale engloutie”,”The Sunken Cathedral”, one of the 12 preludes from the „volume one” collection of preludes by Claude Debussy.

Get you kicks on these French delights as well and
…enjoy the effect it can have on you… ;-)
